TWO-DAY FLY FISHING SCHOOL
Turning Stones Fly Fishing, LLC, 2 Day Fly Fishing School is a perfect weekend getaway for those of you that have been itching to learn the wonderful art of fly fishing. Classes are available for the beginner as well as the experienced angler who really wants to reach that next level in this wonderful sport.
Our instructors have the advanced knowledge and patience to teach you this time tested art in a relatively short period of time. The school teaches advanced methods and techniques that would take several years to learn on your own.
Once completed, the knowledge acquired from this 2 day school, will leave you brimming with confidence to get out there and catch them by yourself.
Here are some of the types of instruction you'll receive during the 2 Day School.
Day One will begin with a video presentation explaining some of the basics of trout fishing including reading water, fly selection, etc. That will be followed by fly rod setup, knots, and basic casting techniques such as the Roll Cast and the Pick up & Lay Down.
Day Two is all on the stream. You'll start with more casting instruction and advanced streamer and nymphing techniques. After lunch you will be able to go on the stream and apply many of the skills you have learned to land a big one.
Lunch is included and classes are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Cost is $275 per person.
